Turks and Caicos Updated Travel Requirements

Last August 28, 2021, the Ministry of Tourism of Turks and Caicos issued a press release regarding the changes to Turks and Caicos pre-arrival protocols (Turks and Caicos Updated Travel Requirements)  for tourists visiting TCI. These changes that are already in effect starting September 1, 2021 are as follows:

✔️ All tourists 16 years old and above must be able to show proof of being fully vaccinated and must have a negative COVID 19 approved test within three (3) day of arrival including insurance which covers COVID 19 medical cost, full cost of hospitalization, prescriptions, doctors’ visits, medical evacuation and quarantine.

NOTE: Fully vaccinated means persons who would have had their second shot taken over two weeks and no less. If a traveler is coming and only had the second shot 10-13 days prior, they would not be allowed to enter.

Vaccines that are accepted:

 

The TCI Assured Portal will accept the following as proof of vaccination:

✔️ E-certificate/ digital certificates e.g CVW, Walgreens, NHS

✔️ Certification by Doctor or Government Entity

✔️ Vaccination cards/ certificates accepted by national authorities like EU, US, UK (e.g CDC, NHS)

✔️ A vaccination letter signed by a medical professional (physician or registered nurse) on official letterhead with contact details  (doctors registration or license # should be included with details of the first dose and second dose – date, country, and vaccine received)

✔️ Authorized government entity or printed record from an electronic vaccination database.
